F A Q
Q.How are the names set up?
A. The names are just basic names. Not 'DuskSTAR,' 'LionSTEP,' or 'FireKIT.' Normal stuff like, erm, 'Fluffy.
However warrior names are allowed, I suppose. Just don't go crazy with it.
Yes, this is not a fantasy guild. Names like "Bryler" or "Laylah" are allowed. They are like loners: and many had been a human's pet at one point in time.
How do the cats get their food?
A. The cats get their food through hunting mice in alleyways or perhaps the Trapped Forest. They also beg from Humans and take food from garbage. They do not care how they get their food. There is nothing wrong with getting food from humans. {Except, perhaps to the Illustrious.
What's the difference between the Chain and the Myriad?
A. The Myriad and the Chain are very similar. The Myriad is every cat member in the pack or perhaps clan. (Using Warriors or Wolf terms.) The Chain is a rebellious group against the Myriad. They are still in the Myriad.
Why are the cats of the Chain rebelling?
A. The rules of the Illustrious have changed, and the fair leaders aren't exactly....fair anymore. They hope for new leadership. c:
Why do queens leave the Chain?
A. Queens are too vulnerable from attack if they are in plain sight. {{Chain cats are always targeted.}} So, rather than leaving the Chain, they merely go to the Abandoned Home.
Why do older cats leave the Chain?
A. They are too weak to live with the dangers of being a member. It's for safety reasons.
How old are cats when they have to leave the Chain?
They'd be 'elder' age as said in Warriors.
Once my cat is too old to be in the Chain, do I just stop roleplaying him? What happens to him?
A.He goes to being a normal Myriad member. (Later on, I will be setting up small plots for Myriad members....so you can still use them.)
Do we use Warrior terminology (i.e. monster for car, two-leg for human, etc)?
A. Yes, same Warrior terminology. (Human can still be Human though. x3)
Why don't the cats live in one place?
A. It's much to dangerous to constantly live in one place. The Illustrious could find out where they are. o:
Will we be roleplaying The Chain or The Myriad more?
A. Mainly we will be roleplaying The Chain, but there will be an option for roleplaying the Myriad soon. c:
Who is the leader of The Chain?
A. The leader of the Chain is the Commandant. Currently this position is not open; in hopes that the old Chain leader will join this forum. x3
How do cats get into the Chain?
A. They speak with an Arbitra.
How?
Arbitras are wildly known for their rank. (Which makes that position a dangerous one....) Basically, cats just approach them.
They have to go through a series of tests just to prove that they a worthy.
1. Agility
2. Strength
3. Wisdom
4. Leadership
5. Loyalty
Agility--Cats have to run a 'course' in a day.
Strength--Cats have to fight a Chain member and win, or atleast, but up a decent fight.
Wisdom-- They have to show knowledge of hunting, territory, Myriad and the Chain, ect.
Leadership-- Can this cat prove that they can lead? Not just be pushed around? **This certain 'test' has to be completed in the 'middle.' They have to prove that they won't buckle in to the Illustrious yet they will still obey the Commandants command.
Loyalty-- They have to confide about all secrets of the Myriad and they have to go on some sort of task with a Tutori.
How does a member of The Myriad get ranked up?
Members of the Myriad do not get ranked up. (excluding the Elder group, kit, queen, ect.)
They are born into that position.
Chain members also do not get ranked up. When a member joins, a cat whoom is leaving the Chain will decide what rank that cat should be in. If not cat is leaving the Chain when a cat joins, the Arbitras decide the rank.
Do the cats interact with humans?
Can the Chain members have relationships?
Who trains kits to become part of the Chain?
If the cats don't live together, how do they know when meetings happen?
How does the Chain's monarchy work, if they even have one?
