The water dripped down into the pool; splashing in as it mixed with the residing water; it’s drips seemingly finding a pattern of serenity. The wind gently blew through her fur; spiraling several strands in the air as it settled them upon the crystal water. Her paw gently swished in the water; the cold chill seemingly unaffected her personality. Her eyes were lit up; a smile set upon her maw. Her heart swarming with tranquility, she stared down into the mirror-like pool; her head tipped inquisitively. Kieru had always loved the Cloud Pool. It was so peaceful and quiet—and despite the fact that /humans/ made it, Kieru had to admit that it was just…pretty. It always seemed to scare away any pranks that she had wanted to come up with: as if it was too peaceful to allow such a thought; it just…calmed her. Such a gentle little pool, unable to travel like rivers; trapped and still, as if perhaps the moons would never ever affect it.
A yawn erupted from Kieru’s chest as she lifted her paw out of the water, her eyes still bright and joyful. She couldn’t help but laugh as she shook her paw; practically begging for the crystallized droplets to disappear from her fur. Her mind seemed to immediately drift away from tranquility as she leaped to the ground; her thoughts surging back to her in some sort of rush. The meeting went well; much to her surprise. Not a single problem arose from the entire thing—well, despite that weird cat that seemed to just show up out of no where. What was his name again? Timsy? Oh, well, something like that.
Kieru nimbly stretched; her forepaws reaching ahead with outstretched claws. The Cloud Pool did have one unfortunate part about it: it always made her tired and bored. And Kieru wasn’t the sort to like such a thing.
I wonder what happened with my earlier prank? Kieru grinned in mischievousness, her heart lifting one more. I bet Axton didn’t even realize that stupid thing was fake until he showed it to his royal highbum! She nodded in satisfaction at the though; another giggle escaping her amused figure. Axton was very, very oblivious. He didn’t even remember that she was a Chain member, nor that she was one that knew every single member in the entire Rebellion. No, no, Kieru was quite positive he didn’t notice just exactly where that mouse came from. And when /that/ cat finds out it’s gone… Kieru laughed darkly; which didn’t exactly match her positive attitude. Her purred in amusement at her change in expression, trying her hardest to imagine how terribly odd she must look. And that itself sent her into a fit of more giggles. “Kieruo, you really don’t need a Bryler or a Jasper. You got a mouseful of amazing jokes right here!”

Silence blanketed the small alleyway in a stiff, though not exactly stifling grip as did the hot mid-day's sun, the only distinct sounds being that of the cold cascading jets of water descending back down into the large basin in the center of the enclosure. The occasional flap of a bird's wing; the faint and distant cry of a human too far off to care about. The overall quite and serenity of this place was the main draw for Cade, observing silently amongst the shadows which cloaked the edges of the alley in a still darkness. A fleeting trace of light emerald reflected through the shadows for only a moment as the sun touched upon the tom's green eyes, as if trying to reveal him so that he would emerge out into the light. If he had indeed put any thought towards this matter, the tabby's location remained unchanged regardless. Sitting with cream colored paws tucked in to his chest, Cade scanned the clearing until his gaze fell over a dark multi-colored she-cat lounging by the Cloud Pool. He sensed no Myriad scent about the area, though of course if there were any around he would have detected them ages ago. He studied the feline for a moment; she was a new face to him, or at least, he couldn't recall having met her before. At the moment she appeared to be content with her own thoughts, and the expressions that crossed her features which held no apparent reasoning to Cade amused him momentarily. A slight upturn in his maw; a flick of a whisker. Jaws parted and head tilted back into a bored yawn, debating whether he should approach the cat before him or remain hidden. She seemed to be entertaining herself fair enough, but his scent would be detected eventually, he reasoned. Might as well make a friendly greeting first rather than wait and cause unnecessary hostility with the accusation of spying. Normally the tabby would hardly care about any of the matter, but he didn't believe in unnecessary confrontations. Rising to his paws and giving a casual stretch, the tom padded softly out into the sunlight, emerald eyes squinting from the sudden brightness. Self-consciously he cast a quick glance at his bushy pelt and noticed it was in a decent enough state, though it was too late now to try and make it any better. He raised his tail high as he walked, though not as high as he could, trying to maintain the appearance of looking confident while not threatening. As he grew closer he dipped his head in greeting to the she-cat, hesitating to allow her to speak first.
ooc// Sorry Nite, we had company over, had to finish after they left. I haven't done this in a while so sorry if it isn't very long/good, I'm just trying to get back into it now so hopefully I'll get better. ^^

Kieru couldn't help but continue to smirk as her paw whisked through the cool, shimmering water, her thoughts continuing to buzz with the amusing thoughts. A sigh escaped her and her ears twitching with a start of boredom. Perhaps if on que of the discouraging words, or maybe a mirroring effect, she let out a long, silent yawn as she stumbled up to her paws.
A purr thrummed in her throat, which automatically cut short as she caught scent of a unfamiliar cat. Her purr shifted into a soft, rumbling growl; her mind changing to uncertainty to the cat. So, was he a Myriad? Chain, perhaps? If he was, she didn't recognize him, which was probably one of the dumbest things an Arbitra could do. Well, honestly, she knew from the beginning she didn't need to be that stupid rank anyway. She was meant for Commandant, of course. Those stupid old elder cats should have known that to the start. Pah, so forgetting one cat? She honestly didn't care. Or unless, he was just a normal Myriad cat. Which meant this whole bubble of thoughts had been a complete waste of time to think about.!
She cut her thoughts short with a start, her paws stepping her backwards with a step. Tail held high with head held tall, his paws carried him forward with confident strides. His pelt bushy and thick, his eyes emerald green. She locked eyes with him at once, as her way of figuring out exactly just who this cat was. The smirk was brought back to her maw, her whiskers giving a slight twitch as the cat gave a slight dip of his head.
His actions did not bring laughter, just a mere look of kindness, which seemed to make her hidden expressions give way. No, Kieru hadn't been quite good at that sort of thing, she never quite caught the 'whisker' of it, per say. Did she bother to change it? Naturally no.
"Hiya," she said simply, amusement still trailing about her face. "Who are you? I'm not meaning to be completely nosy of course. Simply...let's go with....curious?" Her words were meant to be blunt and straight forward; her curiosity seeming to get the better of her once again. Curiosity killed the cat?
ooc:// oh good gawd. This was absolutely terrible. I am so sorry that you had to read this crap. xDD

A silver she-cat crawled out of a dumpster behind Dominic's place. That was probally the best meal she had in weeks. There was a barely audible thump as she landed on the filfthy, alley ground. As she landed, her weak legs gave out under her. An annoyed look came across her face. Ears pricked, making sure there was no cat around to see her fall, she started padding to the street. Her now ragged, filfthy pelt clung to her rib cage. A flash of a memory came to her.A loud purr erupted from a plump cats chest. Next to her was a handsome tom, her brother. Padding up was Piierce and Griffin, ready to give her brother a mission... A hiss shot out of her mouth as she thought about what came next. Sophie! You need to chill out! YOu may have led a compfortable life with the Myriad, but now you are fighting for a cause!
Sensing she needed company, she padded in the direction of the cloud pool, knowing there would be some member of the Chain lounging around there.Maybe even Ash.Right then she shook her pelt, resenting herself for falling for the tom. But he had been gone for what could be months now.
Sophie finally made it to the soothing place and began to lap up some good, clean water. Purring softly, she layed out by the spring and waited for another to show up.
((Are Kieru and Cade still at the cloud pool?))

Observing the dark pelted cat before him, Cade continued striding towards the Cloud Pool, keeping his expressions mostly masked. As he watched her, he got that feeling that word of her existence as a higher ranking Chain member had gone by him before, but as to what position she held and if it was even the right cat in his mind was beyond him. Regardless, he would treat her normally; it wasn't like she was possibly a Secunde or anything. He couldn't be that ignorant as to Chain rankings...
The scent of another approaching cat drew Cade's attention, but he held his gaze steady to Kieru's for the moment to avoid appearing rude. Snow hued paws padded lightly over dead fallen leaves and sparse patches of grass that shot up between cracks in the brick pavement, a light crunching noise audible with each footfall. The sun was again hiding behind thick puffy clouds, though they weren't dark enough as to promise rain for the future, which disappointed Cade slightly. Summer had left the place feeling noticeably dry it seemed, another reason for which he'd ventured to the Cloud Pool in the first place.
Mentally shaking his head to rid himself of these absent thoughts, whiskered ears perked forward as the cat toward which he was approaching began to speak. The left corner of his maw turned up slightly in a grin at her forwardness. He had to say, it was a relief to come across someone who wasn't always so rigid and uptight with themselves, as if fearing they would betray their darkest secrets if not constantly controlling every word that escaped their lips. "Hello." He returned the greeting, pausing to listen as she inquired about his identity, then continued on about her curiosity. Amusement flickered in his eyes though that was the only place he let it show. "It's fine. I'm Cade. Apart of The Chain, though you probably already knew that. May I ask your calling as well?" He attempted to come off as kind, though not over-interested, as cats before had informed him that he often seemed standoffish when speaking to others he did not know well, which was usually due to him keeping his emotions well under the surface. Cade wasn't one for much social interaction.
The scent of another drew the tom's attention for a moment, eyes flickering to the right as he noticed a silver she-cat also resting by the pool. He scanned her for a moment before returning his gaze to Kieru, awaiting her response.

{{yeah, they are at the cloud pool. Near it anyway. ^-^ }}
Kieru couldn't help but stare at the cat, amusement making her whiskers twitch. Perhaps to most there would be no need for such an emotion, but Kieru had decided that this cat was going to be her new toy. He seemed much too....too...serious? She wasn't quite sure on the correct word, but one thing for sure, Kieru was determined to break his personality.
Her eyes brighted as his maw sparked the slightest of a grin, making Kieru let out another short giggle. Her ears perked up and tail swishing over her paws, she tipped her head as he spoke as if she had not thought a word would ever tumble from his mouth. "Hello," his words returned in a polite, courteous tone. "It's fine, I'm Cade. Apart of the Chain, though you probably already knew that. May I ask your calling as well?"
Kieru giggled again, not able to contain her entertainment. His words were so...so formal. And, sophisticated. What sort of cat would say calling in this moon anyway? Kieru thought in {{MAKE ROLL IN THE AISLES. Just kidding. I had to throw that in there for me and Night's sake. xD}} delight, a slight purr rumbling in her chest. This cat, uh, Cade was it? Yes, Cade. He would be a fun test, wouldn't he? Kieru couldn't help but ignore his response, 'you probably knew that,' her pride much to large to ever acknowledge the fact that she didn't. "Name's Kieru. Like, Keer-oo. Isn't it cool?" As her eyes held his, she noticed his attention shifting, and she immediately jumped down to the ground next to him. "Whatcha lookin' at, there, Romeo?" She questioned, her head tipped in confusion. Why did she call him Romeo exactly? He seemed to be that sort of personality. The player type. All, gentlemanly and such--just like that previous Illustrious cat that dated the Chain leader, Juliet. Her black nose raised to the air as she inhaled, the scent of hotdogs rising into her nose. But also a cat, a Chain cat, she was sure. How she could have missed that earlier, who knows? As she caught glimpse of the silver she-cat, she sprouted a bigger smile, her head dipping in acknowledgment of Sophie.
{{I am getting rushed. xD Sorry. }}
